Let’s get it right: what will happen when Trump and his unlawful government appointees are powerless in jail? Can MAGA survive and continue to play in a legal system without breaking the law? The U.S. Constitution says, “No way,” and see you in a real court of law. Your day will come. This is the USA, not “Trump MAGA Country,” as they wished. Trump sends his uneducated, untrained, and unlawfully appointed agents to arrest Latinos simply for being brown-skinned. They act violently, rudely, and illegally, treating Latino U.S. citizens as if they were animals. When they try to arrest a family member without cause or court order, and another relative explains that the person is a U.S. citizen, that relative is also arrested for “interfering.” This is not the America that thousands of Chicanos and Latinos fought and died to protect. Now, Trump’s MAGA racists and un-American white supremacists are destroying the USA. Latinos are not leaving. If MAGA knew history, they would remember that Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, and Colorado were stolen from Mexico in 1846 by the U.S. government, under orders of a racist politician named Polk, who had no respect for Mexicans or Native Americans. We are home. Almost 180 years later, another racist politician named Trump and his army of white supremacists are carrying out illegal raids across the country. The Mexicans and Latinos who do the hardest physical labor—better than anyone else—are being arrested, even though many are U.S. citizens. This is illegal. City officials and community groups that support these raids, which separate families and cause immense pain and financial loss, will be remembered on Election Day. We thank the many mayors who have stood up against ICE by refusing to let local police help with these arrests. Cities that do cooperate with ICE, selling out their police forces for federal money, are a shame to this great country—and many of those weak leaders were elected with Latino votes. To the Brown and Black individuals who disrespect their own people, flaunt fake badges, and act like they can treat others like animals because they have Trump’s support: one day you will face judgment in a court of law, or before God. Only a cold-blooded person could do what Trump orders for money. History will remember the traitors, and with AI, no one gets away. How will you explain to your children that you betrayed your people for money? You are a disgrace. The MAGA government—led by Stephen Miller, his Project 2025 team, and their puppet, Trump—cannot continue to exploit our country unlawfully and strip away our rights. Latinos have learned to forgive, but we do not forget who our friends are. The best labor force in the world is Latino. Hundreds of thousands are returning to Mexico, leaving behind a dream turned nightmare by a racist government. Yet, with determination and faith in democracy, 65 million Latinos will continue moving forward, rebuilding the USA. We will survive this dark period in history. The nation that Latinos are helping to build will recover once Trump and MAGA are gone. Latinos will overcome, and God will lead the way. Thanks to the businesses that support Latino media in these times of political chaos. Latino media keeps our people informed, connected to services, and aware of who truly stands with us. When this is over, Latinos will remember our real friends. We will also change how and where we spend and invest our money. Juntos sí podemos. This is just a trial to clear the path for future generations. It is helping to build a bridge that unites Latinos. We are a fearless power, guided by faith. Keep the faith.
Roberto’s Taco Shop: A Legacy of Flavor, Family, and Giving Back
At Roberto’s Taco Shop, giving is more than a photo opportunity; it’s a verb, an action, and a responsibility to the community. Since its beginnings in 1964, when Roberto and Dolores Robledo opened a humble tortilleria, the brand has grown into a household name across Nevada, California, and Texas. Yet through all that growth, its heart has remained rooted in serving people, not just tacos. Unique among franchises, Roberto’s Taco Shop is built on a model that empowers employees to become franchise owners. Of the more than 600 employees across Nevada, nearly 49 have taken that leap, transforming their lives and building generational wealth while continuing to serve the neighborhoods they call home. This model reflects Roberto’s core belief: creating opportunities for everyday people to achieve their American Dream. “Our journey has always been about more than just tacos,” said CEO Reynaldo Robledo. “It’s about family, community, and creating opportunities. Giving back isn’t a slogan for us; it’s an action, whether it’s supporting a child’s dream through Make-A-Wish or creating a pathway for employees to become owners.” Roberto’s Taco Shop has long partnered with organizations like Make-A-Wish to support children with critical illnesses, raising funds that directly change lives. But equally important are the smaller, everyday acts of giving—from sponsoring local events to backing causes that uplift families across Nevada and beyond. The stories of Roberto’s franchise owners are also part of this legacy. Many began as employees making tacos, and today they run their own shops, carrying forward the Robledo family’s vision of opportunity. These owners represent the real Latino community of Las Vegas and beyond, showing how a business can create impact far beyond its storefronts. “My parents’ greatest legacy wasn’t just the food,” Reynaldo said. “It was the chance they gave regular people to build a future. That’s what giving means to us—action that changes lives.” Roberto’s Taco Shop remains proof that when giving is active, authentic, and rooted in community, it becomes more than charity; it becomes a legacy.

The Mexican Consulate in San Bernardino Welcomes the Office of Turismo y Convenciones de Tijuana
By Miguel Barrientos It was on June 25th, 2025, in San Bernardino, California, at the Office of the Mexican Consulate. The office of Turismo y Convenciones de Tijuana and Baja Health Cluster, along with other businesses from Tijuana, promoted their products and healthcare services to the people of San Bernardino. The Honorable Consul of Mexico in San Bernardino, California, Julio César Huerta García, offered a warm and friendly welcome. You could sense the brotherhood among the many visitors. It felt like being among family and lifelong friends. Present at the event was the award-winning wine from Don Luis Cetto Winery, considered the best in Baja California. As Dr. Enrique Schultz says, “El buen vino se disfruta con la comida,” and he is right. Imagine a carne asada or a ribeye steak with a bottle of Don Luis Cetto Vino Tinto—yum, yum, say the taste buds. My friends from the well-known Grand Hotel in Tijuana, where visitors enjoy a quality stay, were also present. Samantha Alvarado Luna, Subdirectora de Promoción y Desarrollo Cultural in Tijuana, shared valuable information. Learning about the Tijuana Library System was both fun and exciting—it is reaching every corner of Mexico, providing educational material for people of all ages. Héctor Urbalejo, with Terrenos Campestres Real Estate, presented a master-planned community outside Tijuana. It was exciting to hear how today’s property in Mexico costs much less than in the USA. Real estate agents are seeing a massive boom, with more people from the U.S. buying property like never before. Also present was the Baja Health Cluster, known for its high-quality healthcare services and certified doctors in every specialty needed for a healthy life. Dr. Eduardo Serena Gómez, Vice President of Baja Health Cluster, explained why 3.5 million people visit Tijuana for healthcare every year—a number that continues to grow. The President, Dr. Fabian Walters, will be sharing more about BHC in the near future. Many other businesses from Tijuana joined to showcase their products, healthcare services, and opportunities for Latino businesses in San Bernardino County, California. Dr. Karim Chalita, President of Turismo y Convenciones de Tijuana, spoke about the many opportunities for doing business with Tijuana and the numerous attractions for visitors. “Tijuana is a fun and exciting place to enjoy for a weekend or as long as you can,” he said. Juan Coronado Ruiz, Director General for the Office of Turismo y Convenciones, emphasized how safe it is to travel to Tijuana, noting that more families are crossing the border to dine and relax. Today, over 2 million people from the USA and Canada have made Mexico their home. Baja California is booming with visitors, and thousands of families are leaving the U.S. and returning to Mexico, creating a financial boost in cities like Tijuana. The event in San Bernardino is one of many that the Oficina de Turismo y Convenciones de Tijuana is hosting across California and other states. Dr. Karim Chalita and his professional, friendly team continue to inspire Latino entrepreneurs and families, showing Tijuana as both a great place to do business and to enjoy quality living with excellent services.
Baja Health Cluster is the best alternative for people without healthcare insurance.
Las Vegas is only a 3-hour drive from the best healthcare. By Miguel Barrientos The Baja Health Cluster is serious about addressing the issue of healthcare services for families without health insurance. It’s no longer thousands, but now millions of people with no healthcare insurance. For many people, the best alternative is going to Tijuana for healthcare at a much lower cost and without waiting. Old school (baby boomers) like me would go to Tijuana in the 80s and 90s, and you would find a doctor. Mostly it was for a dentist. You could get your teeth cleaned, address some cavities, or even have a tooth pulled for about $25. Each year, hundreds of thousands of people visit Tijuana for healthcare. Of course, there were spoilers. Some individuals tricked people and charged more without providing the quality service that was expected. Some of the work from unethical doctors was not good, and there was no one to file a complaint with. This created poor PR for healthcare professionals. In 2011, the Baja Health Cluster decided to change the way doctors practice in Tijuana.A group of professionals in the medical field in Tijuana, led by Dr. Karim Chalita, came together to ensure the population would have access to quality healthcare without fraudulent charges. As the population grew, the healthcare industry started to change for the better. The Mexican business community, comprising professionals from the healthcare industry, continues to invest capital to ensure the medical sector advances with the world’s best technology and high-quality medical buildings, meeting the growing demand for top healthcare from patients all over the world. People from all over Mexico, the United States, Canada, and other countries began to learn about the quality healthcare in Tijuana, B.C. By 2024, over 3.2 million people yearly visit Tijuana from the United States, Canada, and many other countries for their healthcare. We are talking about healthcare technology that most people have not seen, but those who have been cured of their health problems will gladly recommend it to their friends and family. Ninety percent of patients come from referrals, mainly from patients themselves. Many people are still unaware that healthcare in Tijuana is much less expensive, and it’s not only for the rich and famous. People who are employed but cannot afford health insurance are coming to Tijuana every day for healthcare. All patients are treated with quality care and services. Now, 14 years later, Baja Health Cluster, with over 250 members, continues to be the healthcare organization that leads in providing quality care with a world-class reputation. Without all the politics in healthcare, the Baja Health Cluster is providing high-quality medical services and the best, friendliest, and most caring doctors, nurses, and staff to ensure a pleasant healthcare experience for each patient at affordable costs. To be a member, doctors must be certified by the Governing Board of Specialized Healthcare. To obtain this certificate, you must have been in practice for a specified number of years. Only certified professional healthcare providers are allowed to be members of the Baja Health Cluster family. Fourteen years later, in Tijuana, BHC is recognized as a global leader in delivering high-quality healthcare. With one visit to Bajahealthcluster.mx, you can learn about the different health services available and organize a visit to Tijuana with a doctor for your health issue. An appointment will be scheduled at your convenience. The hotel where you will stay, if needed, is a quality hotel that meets your needs and provides the necessary services. If recovery time is required after surgery, we provide only quality recovery rooms that will make your recovery as pleasant as possible. BHC will be by your side during your healthcare visit to Tijuana. If any issues arise, a BHC representative is only a phone call away to assist you. You get the royal treatment at 20% to 70% less cost. As for transportation, we will start by picking you up at the airport in San Diego International or the Tijuana International Airport, or even picking you up at your home in Las Vegas or Southern California. Throughout your stay, you will have personal transportation services to go wherever you like in Tijuana, Rosarito, or Ensenada. If you have no health insurance and have a U.S. passport, the Baja Health Cluster may be your best plan. Dr. Fabian Walter is the President-elect of the Baja Health Cluster in Tijuana. He sees people from all over the world, and they are all treated equally, with respect and with the best quality healthcare at an affordable cost for everyone. www.BajaHealthCluster.mx
